Frog Jump Committee

​

The Frog Jump Committee is dedicated to organizing the Fair's signature event, the Frog Jump This hardworking group manages all aspects of the event, ensuring a fun and memorable experience for everyone. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month, but please note that there are no meetings in July, September, November, and December. For more information the Frog Jump or to learn how to volunteer, please contact the Fair office at 209-736-2561.

Main Stage Manager(s) – Donovan Hamanaka
Handles all logistics for the functioning of the Main Stage.
Assembles all equipment/materials necessary behind-the-scenes and on stage.
Coordinates day-of-event Main Stage volunteer task assignments.

Trains volunteers for on stage responsibilities and meets with them regularly to assure consistency.

 

Fun Stage Manager - Carole Rocselli

Handles all logistics for the functioning of the Fun Stage.
Assembles all equipment/materials necessary behind-the-scenes and on stage.
Coordinates day-of-event Fun Stage volunteer task assignments.

Trains volunteers for on stage responsibilities and meets with them regularly to assure consistency.

 

Frog Welfare Manager – Dave Gallagher
Handles all logistics for the functioning of the frog habitat under the stage.
Assembles all equipment/materials necessary for the Frog Spa.
Coordinates day-of-event under the stage volunteer task assignments.

Trains volunteers  and meets with them regularly to assure consistency.

 

Media/Promotions Manager – Sandie Lema

Works with Fair Manager on media relations/promotions.
Coordinates with board members/local teams to maximize press opportunities.
Organize and create media focus for the Frog Expo area.
Assist with Team Dinner logistics/program.
Focus on increasing Grand Finals entertainment value.

 

Special Jumps Manager – Ron Dwelley

Coordinate with Fair Manager and Special Events Coordinator on logistics for any pre-Jubilee community jumps or events.  Assemble equipment/materials required for any special jumps.

Build crew adaptable to any/all special jump requests.

 

Administration – Bob Lema
Organizes meetings/agendas/minutes. Follows-up on manager reporting. Coordinates with Fair Manager and Special Events Coordinator on finances/ Fair Board relations/community outreach/promotions.

 

CFO – Chief Frog Officer – Shana Nash
Provides Managers of the Main and Fun Stages with logistics tools to organize their stage/crew throughout the year and at the event.

Keeps the Jubilee Rules up-to-date. Maintains Team Relations.

Serves as Frog Marshall on Main Stage for rules determination when available. Coaches key volunteers to serve as Frog Marshall when necessary and assures they are qualified for that role.

 

Other Board Members Include: Jim Bailey, Jon and Laura Kithcell, Doug Nielsen, Gloria Grimes, Lyle Palmer.
